At the heart of the Marais, sisters Flavie and Melodie are ready to welcome you. This is “le vieux Paris”, the ceilings are low, and the walls are thick stone making it impossible to connect to a mobile network, so relax and enjoy a trip back in time.

There’s a lovely smell of pot-au-feu coming from the kitchen and the restaurant promises a traditional French menu. Everything is homemade, using good seasonal produce. Soup of the day, oven baked Mont D’Or cheese or leeks in vinaigrette to start with. For the mains there’s caramelized calf’s liver with balsamic vinegar, wok fried beef or lasagne and all at an excellent value lunchtime menu price: 12.90€.

After a chocolate pudding or a red fruit cheesecake, Flavie takes out her Polaroid and immortalizes lunch for a mother and daughter. And ladies, you will have the great honour of being exhibited on the restaurant walls. Don’t worry guys, father and son photos are also allowed!

This is a small bistro just the way we like them. We can’t wait to come back to try their buffet with tastings of the finest quality charcuterie and cheeses.
