This restaurant has a retractable roof and the dining room is dotted with orchids and trees, producing an elegant light-filled effect. The great idea is to have divided the restaurant into two parts: a bistro and a gastronomic restaurant…

Here, on the gastronomic side, the ingredients take precedence, particularly the foie gras (a speciality of the house) with honey or Sauterne, in a carpaccio with three types of pepper…The dishes are clear, precise and unfussy, like this tender fillet of Limousin beef with morille mushrooms or that magnificent sole for two people.

On the bistro side the menu is good, with much to delight the foodie (Pata Negra ham, a trio of foie gras, a duck terrine with porcini mushrooms…) and classics too (seabream royale with fennel confit, risotto, confit de canard) and an irresistible starter + main at 28€ and starter + main + dessert at 35€. An epicurean table; taste the cassoulet, you can detect each individual flavor, that’s rare. Shame the restaurant side is so expensive…
